- I have been married 26 years to Mike. My two wonderful children are 22 and 24. After being a foster parent or houseparent for 17 years I decided to go to college. I'm a full-time social work student at Indiana Wesleyan University. I'm an alumna of Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society, a Guistwhite Scholar and a Jack Kent Cooke Scholar. Most importantly, I am a follower of Jesus Christ.

I got caught up today on what has been going on since you arrived. God is with you on this journey. You are going to bring to the people there your love of the Lord, but He is going to show you so much more to bring home to show others. You are in my prayers.
Melinda: I agree with Mike's comment! I noticed the group sits on rock benches, and yet they are all smiling. Maybe it's because your own happines radiates!?

It sounds as if you are handling your lack of control over your situation with your usual sweet humor and might we add, grace and dignity that comes with age and experience. There is a definite benefit to age. We pray that God will continue to grow you in understanding of His Grace and His utmost care over even the most basic needs, physical and spiritual.
